Read with Lexora
A short guide to understanding selected text, using reading aids, and returning to saved items.
Start reading
Select a word, phrase, or passage on a web page where Lexora is enabled.
Read the result in context
Review the meaning or translation in the Lexora panel, then continue reading the original page. Available modules depend on the text, language, enabled features, and your settings.
Japanese readings and pronunciation
Use furigana when available to follow Japanese text. Pronunciation playback is available for supported languages; reading aids may vary with the selected text and settings.
Save and return with Notebook
Explicitly save a selection from the reading panel, then find it in Notebook in Lexora Options. Entries stay in this browser. Search, delete, or export them as Markdown when you choose. Saving is unavailable in incognito tabs.
References and optional AI
Reference information such as Wikipedia may appear when relevant. AI assistance is optional and depends on your configured provider. Cloud providers and compatible local endpoints such as Ollama are supported; choosing local AI does not make other enabled services local.
If something is missing
Check that Lexora is enabled for the page and review your language, provider, and privacy settings in Options. Some results depend on provider availability. If the issue persists, contact Support with the steps you tried; leave out private text and credentials.
